The Maquerade AuctionI would like to congratulate all alumni members for their passion and generosity at the masquerade auction party, you all managed to raise £25k for the WCW Benevolent Fund. The event was held at George Mycroft country lodge in the grade hall. The evening began with a fantastic and entertaining speech by George Mycroft; his wit and sheer tenacity drove the evening to great success. I particularly admired the way he extended a warm welcome to last years successful MBA applicants, who have now become part of the Whitefield family. Four hundred alumni attended, wearing all inspiring costumes, the candescent glow within the candlelit room was breathtaking. As the champagne flowed with rapturous delight and chocolate fountains enriched two corners of the room - as alumni delved rich ripe strawberries in the fissures of the fountains. The Cuban swing bands music trickled resounding warmth that enriched our passion for enjoyment and generous giving's. Once again, thank you to all who attended especially as some alumni members travelled from around the world to spend this evening with us.  The Hogmanay PartyThis New Year's eve, we shall be holding our Hogmanay party on the Isle of Harris, we have hired a boat to pick all alumni up from the Isle of Sky to take you directly to the Castle. For those male members who would like to ware the tradition Harris Tweed kilt and Sporran please contact me with your sizes and I will organise this for you. You know the drill, places go very quickly, thus please book early to guarantee your reservation. For further travel details and cost please contact me at your convenience. As previous WCW event this promises to be another big party. There will be the customary pipers at dawn.
