Credit Suisse and Skolkovo Annouce Strategic Partnership
Speaking about the partnership, Fawzi Kyriakos-Saad, Chief Executive Officer of Russia, the CIS and Turkey for Credit Suisse, said: "We are proud to partner with Russia's first international business school. The partnership underscores Credit Suisse's commitment to the Russian market. Credit Suisse has been involved in Russia for over four decades and open edits first office in Russia in 1991. The Bank is a leading advisor to government, corporate and private clients in Russia and has offices in Moscow and St Petersburg. Credit Suisse is the only international bank working with SKOLKOVO as a founding partner. As a founding partner, Credit Suisse will be involved in strategic and operational decision-making at the School. Its management will be instrumental in mentoring the students and contributing to master classes and lectures. The SKOLKOVO Moscow School of Management project is fulfilled by the governmental-private partnership within the framework of the Education Foreground National Project. The project is financed by private investors, and doesn't use governmental budget recourses. The President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev is Chairman of the SKOLKOVO International Advisory Board. Since 2006 SKOLKOVO conducts short educational programs Executive Education for top and medium-level managers - the programs are held in an open manner, and specialized, developed basing on the companies requests comprehensive modules. In January 2009 the school started the Executive program; the enrollment for the second class, which will begin studying in January 2010, has already started.
