Rouen Business School names new research directorRouen Business School has named Henri Isaac as its new associate dean of research, effective September 1st. His principal mission will be to enhance the value of the research done at Rouen Business School and to play a role in positioning the school as one of the best in Europe before 2012.


He will be responsible for organising research, leading the team of research professors, developing scientific output, forming new partnerships, creating new research chairs and continuing to develop the academic excellence of the school.


Henri Isaac has extensive experience in research management, acquired while at Paris-Dauphine. He has put together research teams of international scope, contributed to the creation of a joint doctoral programme with Georgia State University, participated in research chairs, and worked in the research laboratory, Dauphine Research in Management. He also has expertise in information systems and the digital economy.


The research policies of Rouen Business School coincide with the vision of the school and rely on the commitment to train youth ready to explore new worlds and go forward as responsible leaders. This vision will guide the research themes and work led by different research professors at the school.


Henri Isaac received his Ph.D in management from Université Paris-Dauphine (France). He was associate professor in this same university from 1997 to 2009. A specialist in information systems and the digital economy, his research - at the intersection of information systems and management - focuses on the effects of technologies on businesses and their management. Henri Isaac was the Secretary General of the Academic Information and Management Association (2004-2008) and Scientific head of the Observatory Dauphine-Cegos in e-management (2000-2005). He also co-wrote a textbook on e-commerce appearing in 2008, printed by Pearson France, and is the author of a report on the “digital university” for the Minister of Higher Education, Valérie Pécresse, published in 2008.
